HISTORY

New Hope Development Day Care Center, Inc., was incorporated in 1973 in the State of New Jersey.   We are a non-profit tax-exempt state licensed day care center that serves children ages 0 – 13 years old in the city of Newark and the surrounding cities.

The daycare center’s goal is to facilitate the physical, intellectual, and effective development of the child within a creative and stimulating environment.  We believe that the tools we put in place today, will help our children develop to their fullest potentials tomorrow.

The Center has served the diverse population of children and families in the Metropolitan Newark area and beyond for over 30 years. Our goal is to assist in the positive future of our children regardless of race, nationality, creed or color.

Most of the children and families that we serve come from predominantly low income and under-privileged households.  Despite the financial status of the children and families we continue to serve, we have never wavered on our commitment to provide quality education and early learning development skills.
